CURES
The Hebrew word for "cure" is refuah. Its gematria (numerical value of its letters) is equivalent to the word "rachamim" which means mercy.
A sick person should ask for mercy from G-d, and he should have mercy on others, as our sages have taught in the Talmud (Shabbat 151a):
"All those who have mercy on other creatores will receive mercy from Heaven".
PLAGUES
From the day that he hears about it, he should eat every morning a fig with a nut and a grain of salt, or with a rhodora leaf. They should all be mixed together, and with G-d's help no harm will befall him from the plague.
LOVE
For love between husband and wife take a new plate and write upon it all the words of Psalm 133, "A song of ascents for David, Behold how good it is and how pleasant that brothers are also dwelling together. Like oil etc...." Then erase the words with wine or liquor. The husband and wife should then drink it, and read the psalm together.
FOR A MATE
Someone who is having trouble finding a mate should read with kavannah (devotion) the Song of the Sea (in the Book of Exodus) and the section about the sacrifices of the princes (Numbers 7). This was revealed by Moharan (Rebbe Nacman of Breslov) in Sefer Hamidot, Chitun 1:6.
LICE
To kill lice wherever they are, take butter or goose oil and mix it with the yolk of an egg. Then cook them. Then he should annoint the afflicted person with it, and he will be healed.
BURNS
A charm for burns is to take the oil of an egg and put it on bandages. He should apply the bandages one after the other. Furthermore, he should immediately say the priestly blessing as it appears in the Sefer Kaf Achat (29). He should say all three verses three times. This is a tested and proved charm according to what appears there.
WITCHCRAFT
Boccharia (Baccaris) is an aromatic plant believed to be hazelwort or spike-nard (Jastrow). It is a charm to nullify witchcraft, as is explained in the Midrash Tanchuma.
ODORS
Persimmon (balsam) oil and incense gladden the heart (Rashi on Proverbs 27:9).
